Jacobson Family Law and Mediation focuses exclusively on family law.  We are a full-service firm with a particular emphasis on non-litigation process options, including mediation and collaborative family law. We are certified as Family Law Specialists by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

We are involved with Los Angeles Westside Collaborative Divorce Professionals as well as A Better Divorce, interdisciplinary groups of professionals in Los Angeles and the South Bay committed to non-court solutions for family law matters.

We have taught courses, delivered presentations and served as panelists in programs related to a variety of substantive family law issues, in addition to programs related to family law mediation and collaborative divorce, for the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, State Bar of California, Association for Family and Conciliation Courts, Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association, UCLA School of Law, Loyola Law School and many others.

We are widely published on topics including mediation, collaborative law, and unbundled legal services.

We are board members of LevittQuinn Family Law Center, a pioneering nonprofit law firm that provides in-court representation and other family law services to low-income individuals in Los Angeles.
